Other than my intro post a few weeks ago I haven't really posted or talked about my dogs. Which is shocking for me! I usually can't brag enough about them.
I will start with Tank. He is a 8/9 year black lab. He is smart, goofy , stubborn ans has a super high prey drive. He is a great dog and taught me a lot. When I got him he was DA had HA tendencies(more fear aggression), was scared of everything. Wether it be a lantern,tent,something falling etc. After working through everything he is a goober and usually loves everyone and everything. Other than fireworks ans gun shots he is usually confident and "go with the flow".
Bentley- 3 year old lab possibly lab/golden. I got him from a high kill pound at around 6 months the day he was due to be PTS. When I got him he was a total PITA. He was stubborn and played "I can't hear you" a lot. But he was smart and picked up on things fast. He has always been great in the house so that was a bonus...haha. I have done 4-H with him and we placed second, did a dog o rama thing and dressed him up as a surfer and we placed first. He is my camping buddy he loves it! We travel well over five hours(to visit family) to go.camping and he does great in the car and usually gets excited when he sees the lake. He is great with people but can be dog selective.
Mia- 8 month old lab/heeler cross. I was at a 4th of July carnival and a guy pulls up with a wagon full of puppies. I told myself no...yea right. My dad agreed to let me foster one. The town was not very full of "dog.friendly" people and some not so.nice people were taking pups so I scooped Mia out of there! I did find her a home but she was quickly returned ans she has never left! She is energetic,smart,quick, and just a Joy! I have big plans for her and hopefully I can build her confidence a bit and follow through with them! I want to do agility and therapy work and she will be working along side Bentley at my uncles farm during summer. Hopefully she will be able to join us on vacation to.go camping as well as she has never been!
Mae- she is my moms dog but because of her work schedule I take care of her. She is a 9 year old mutt. My cousins dog had a litter of puppys she gave her to her dad for her little sister they didn't want her so we got her at 10 months. She usually just likes her daily walk then goes back to sleeping,haha.
