Should you feed your dogs once, or twice a day(adult dogs)?

I free feed Katie...but shes not a pig when it comes to her food so I can get away with it. My food? Different story, she's definitly a pig. LMAO

Twice a day, morning and night. Both meals the same. Since I switched her to Natural Balance, I can't free feed her since she will lick the bowl clean as soon as I put it down..

Morning and evening.

I'm struggling to keep weight off of J.D., when I lived with them he was free fed... big mistake.

My guys get a small but filling breakfast, cuz they get canned mixed in there ;)

And depending on how much exercise they get during the day, it could be a small/medium or big kibble dinner. :)

For dogs 6 months and older, twice a day is fine. Personally I feed twice a day as well, since it works with my schedule.

Adult dogs can be fed once a day, which sometimes works out better for raw feeders who feed large pieces or whole carcasses (chicken, rabbit etc.).

I'm glad someone asked this question. I feed Cai twice a day the same amount and he INHALES his food everytime. I keep him well exercised fetching his ball, swimming, and walking 4 -5 miles a day. So he is one hungry boy! I would feel bad if I only fed once a day.

Gonzo gets one big meal in the morning, and usually a small meal in the evening.

Fozzie has just started getting 2 meals per day, when he's full-grown he will eat the same way that Gonzo eats.

They both get training treats at least 2-3 times per day, so they don't go completely hungry, even if they eat one meal.

I feed Bailey an equal ammount twice a day.
I know alot of people only feed once a day (Adult dogs) but Bailey cannot take the quantity of food in one "Hit" so i split it.
