Its been a LOONNG time chazhound lol
i now have 1 dog.. Charlie, hes a bichon poodle mix. i used to have 2 big lab mixes, but they just got way to big and needed more space, so they are both living with my brother who has a ranch. and even tho they are both TERRIBLE herding dogs (lol ive seen them, they have no interest in any kind of animals other than cats) So they just run around all day and lie in my brothers office in the A/C so they are doing well. but my house is soo.. lonely and quiet. charlie is very low maintenance and independent. hes more of a cat that barks really lol, and i love that about him.. but im looking for a small dog that more.. affectionate. Well, when i was a kid i used to have a pappilion and i just loved her! so im thinking about maybe getting a puppy.

problem? i go to college in 2 years, and although my mother is staying here and would have no problem caring for both charlie and the new dog.. id like to bring my dog to college which i know, is sometimes a recipe for disaster but id just like some thoughts on this.

thanks :)

Welcome Back!

I don't remember you as I'm still a new member.. but welcome back anyway :)

Why just take one dog to college? Your other dog will be lonely without its friend.. especially if its 2 yrs away.. 2 yrs of playing with its friend.. your dog will be lonely without its friend.. can you take courses online?

Glad your back, Pepe misses pics of his buddy Charlie! But yeah pappys are cute! I couldn't image living two years w/o my pooches. I'm living at home still, attending college, which I finish next year in decemeber!
