My grandparents found 3 about 6 week old puppies under their shed today. All three males and look to be Australian Shepherd or Husky/Shepherd mix puppies. My brother has the puppies at his house for now. Since right now we are calling and posting around to see if anyone had a litter of puppies that wandered off.

But most likely no one is looking for them.

If it turns out that they don't have a home. I think I will be bringing one home.....Im thinking about it :p

Where is the mom? Could she be nursing them under there?

Hope you can find mom soon, at that age they really need her.

Oh no! That is so sad. =< I too wonder where Mom might be... poor pups! I wonder if Mom stashed them under there..?

Oh yeah and this thread is terribly unfair without pics, LOL.

To be honest, I've known some working dog people who have gotten pups at 6 weeks old so I don't think that's really such a huge deal. But, they do really need their litter mates so that they can learn bite inhibition.

But yes, pics please!!!!!

Yeah, 6 weeks isn't a big deal, IMO. You can make up/fill in for alot of the socializing they need.

Pictures would be awesome.

Maybe someone should keep an eye on the shed in case mom comes back? I swear, I hear of people finding puppies in the most random of places and I always wonder how they get there.

If that's the breed mix, they'll likely be smart dogs. But remember they will be dogs, not puppies for very long. Let friends and neighbors know about them and you'll likely find loving homes for them.
Good Luck!

at that age, my guess is it was an oops litter and the lovely owners of mom assumed the puppies didn't need her any more, and dumped her :(
