I don't have much time...up at 4, gotta go back to Puyallup for 3rd day of 4 day show. But just want to squee to you how my baby did the first two days.

First day, he got reserve winners. Meh. Yesterday he got best of opposite sex, a 2nd in all breed (I think that's what it was) and a 1st place in something or other and....drum roll...are you sitting down? He beat Canada's #1 Toy Poodle and got a 5 point major! The judge said to my breeder who handled him, "he's got a magnificent head." My breeder must really be proud. I mean, I'm proud but I didn't do anything. lol.

We'll see what happens today and tomorrow. If it's "meh" I better not complain, right? lol.

Well, off we go.

Hurray for Matisse! That's so impressive for a Poodle puppy! (it's impressive for all, but especially puppies:p)

Thank you guys. I am sorry I haven't come back sooner, but have been running around like a chicken with it's head off. Up till 11, and up in the morning at 3:45. (It takes a long time to fix up a Poodle) And back and forth from the show, an hour and a half away.

Anyhow, yesterday, he got a first, a winners, best of winners, best bred by exhibitor and first in bred by exhibitor group. He went in then, to compete for best in show but a Golden got it.

Today, he got 1st, winners and best of winners, which makes him Ch. Valcopy Matisse L'Clair. Yep, finished after two shows. Who would've thunk it? Whoot!:)

The judge today said he loved his gait, that it never broke up, very consistent. I've always loved it but didn't really know exactly what I was looking at. But it reminded me of an Arabian horse at an extended trot. Poodles really have a lovely way of going.

Okay, bragging over.:eek: Now, the problem is, I have to think of what we could do next.

Thank you so much for such cheering replies. Very nice. I'm very happy to have such a fine dog. But more than anything, he is my sweet natured, adorable little pet and whether or not we pursue anything else, well...I'll ask him. :p

Thanks so much to those who replied. I am really quite stoked with both of these puppies. But this was really exciting. I am glad you liked the pictures of a nice little dog. Thank you.:)

:cry: I can't see the video. It said I had to join google and then it said I had to create a channel and after all that it said no video to view. Never was asked any of that b4 to see something on youtube.
