My Aus. Cattle dog loves to herd....nothing interesting....he only herds us. No matter where we are in the house; he's watching us. A couple days ago I was working in the front yard while the misses was working in the back yard....he was inside going back and forth between the back and front doors.
Last night I did not come home until late. Generally; I'm the first one home. When the misses got home; she took him outside for some exercise; he quickly went back inside to sit at the front door waiting for me. When she went into the bedroom to change out of her office work clothes; he came in and started sniffing the air around my side of the bed trying to see if I was in it (bed is pretty tall). She said it was very very cute.
No matter who comes home first (or last for that matter); he goes absolutely nuts with excitement.
