Beautiful Mary! She looks so cute. Did she have a problem with getting water in her ears?

I don't know if she cramped up, or what was wrong the week before when we went but she just couldn't seem to stroke hard enough to keep her head out of the water. IT was ruining the one thing she loves most and that is to swim. GRammy had the suggestion to try a life vest. So this is what we did. Later i took it off of her and she went out and swam pretty much ok, but i never want to see her sink like that again. HEr head almost went all the way under. WIth the vest on she was able to keep her head up much higher, water in her ears has always been a problem but that is because when she retrieves she will stick her whole head under the water. SHe doesnt' like it and we have to be very careful to dry them out as soon as we get home or it will be a yeast battle.

You rock!!! SHe was happy, having a marvelous time. You would never believe how sick she was by the next morning But she is all good and back to her normal self now. Running after Pepper in the field, teasing her by not letting her come to me when i was calling her and Pepper was really trying too. Mary would cut her off, she is such a tease. Good Mary day today.

I know it's too much to hope she will be there next year but who knows. I take it all one day at a time. SHe was such a goof today, Pepper was just flabbergasted. Mary can move faster then she looks when she wants to. I really hope our wagong "sick bed" thing works out for our trick or treat. I want Mary to be there so badly.

SHe didn't think it was darling lol she said "take that off my head right now i feel rediculous". I got that one hundred percent Wish her snowy ears would have shown up better in the pic...i don't know why she has turned so white in such strange places.
