I just finished this book (by John Grogan) last night and have to say it is one of the best books I have ever read. I've actually caught myself laughing out loud several times throughout the book, and feeling very sad at other times. Any dog lover/owner will appreciate this story, especially if they have a dog as "bad" as Marley!
Just wondering if anyone else read it?

I read it last year on the plane ride home! :D I was planning on reading 'New Moon' by stephenie Meyer, but the book store didn't have it. So I went for Marley & Me and I LOVED it! I finished at the baggage claim and I got funny looks from the customs guy because I almost walking into something (figures)

Gips.. the book store didn't HAVE NM? WTF???? grrrrr... dumb store..

Marley and Me is a GREAT book. I adore John Grogan's writing style--it's unique and upbeat, and it makes the book more than worth reading even if the story hadn't been so great.

I figured I would bring this post back because I am currently reading this book and it is a must read for any dog owners. It is very humourous as well as emotional. Any dog owner could relate to something that Marley has done. It is great to know there are people in the world who would keep a dog like Marley and not just give him back. It also make me think that our puppy isn't so bad after all.

I gave it to my grandfather to read and he LOVED it. He couldnt stop telling me his favorite parts the whole time he was here. Once my baby cousin gets old enough to get into reading next Christmas prolly im gonna buy him the kids version for Christmas so his mom can read it to him.
