PERFECT cat. Perfectly soft and delicious smelling... perfectly groomed... her pawsies are white again... And she's so FLUFFY.

I also have Emma bath pictures for you.. I'll post those in a few days. And I'm going to take some after-bath pictures later. Chili also got a bath, but only to get more fur off of her. And Chili always smells nice. Emma, however, not so much. Emma needed the bath.

I wish I could share the smell and feel of warm, fluffy mango-tango kitty.

Oh she hates it, but she still gets baths, LOL. Her only option with baths is whether it will be calm and quick or unpleasant, painful for me, and long. So far she mostly chooses the former. She doesn't have any option at all as to whether she's getting them... there's no debate or discussion there. Only "HI Emma you wanna bath? I know you do, you cute little kitty, let's go!" and then I haul her off. (There's also no discussion over whether she's allowed to jump out while she's in the bath. She knows the rules. She can put her paws up, but that's it.)

I need to get a picture of my cats in the bath for you all.. they're so pathetic and tiny and it's hilarious. I keep forgetting the camera when they are actually IN the bath, though.

If I tried to give Petey a bath, he would claw me to crap even though he likes playing in his water bowl. I've given Siam baths a few times when she got fleas and she just sits there and wails. Loudly.

Oh the wailing is what kills me. I can deal with scratches, but wailing breaks my heart. Chili tried it on me but I flicked (non-soapy) water droplets in her face and told her to cut it out, because that's the one thing I can't take. I still remember once when she was a kitten when we both ended up crying and soapy and I had to get my mom to finish bathing her because I couldn't stand how she sounded. :(

Twenty years ago or so I used to bath my persian cat. In those days it was the only way to get rid of fleas. No spot-ons in those days. My present cat, Blossom doesn't mind water, she comes into the shower & is always interested in the washing machine when it's being filled. Never been bathed though.
