I am not entirely concerned about seeing Ch on both parents or on both grandparents, but I am concerned about the overall pedigree as well as seeing that the dog/parents/grandparents have been in the ring and, again, this goes back to the other thread about asking the "why" question - WHY is the dog not finished? Do they intend to continue showing with the bitch? Et cetera.
Oh yes, I definitely agree with this.

But I was asking these questions in the context that she's selling the pups as 'show quality' pups, when in fact she doesn't show (by just looking at her website I haven't see anything mentioned about showing, whether or not finishing the dog and having a Ch infront of the name).

I just wanted to know why she thought they were possible show quality when she doesn't say much, if anything, about showing her dogs on her website. That's all. :)

Correct my if I'm wrong, though, Mmorilo, because I didn't think your dogs were shown.

Mandy, I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with how calm you have been through all this. Hearing all these not so great things about your breeding ethics can be upsetting. Consider it constructive criticism. Please take away something from all this to improve on your breeding.

You might think everyone is being hateful, but they are all just trying to help you. Take all this advice you are getting to heart.

Please keep us updated. :)

And good luck.

Throughout this thread, several people have asked why do you choose to breed bitches so young? Why do you start breeding before the age of 2 years?

I'm really curious... can you please answer?

I am curious as well. I keep coming back to see if she answered... and nothing.

Ok - here's question. If I did show these documents, what would you say then? Would you all apologize for all of your false accusations against me? Would all of you give me a virtual hug?
We wouldnt have to make accusations if you were upfront with this information to begin with.

When you say a dog is health tested, and expect people to spend a lot of money for said dog, people arent going to want to take your word for it.

I can tell you that she does show them to prospective buyers, they're not expected to take her word for it.

I don't see why you felt the need to make accusations either way. That's what has really been getting me in this thread. If a bit of information is missing from her website or wherever, you assume the worst. I'd understand it a little more if she came here asking for a critique of her website or something... but she was just sharing puppy pictures so I don't think she felt the need to supply every bit of information about them.

Well unfortunately if you put your website in your signature, you open yourself up to others opinions. She shared the website herself, nobody dug it up to put her down.
If ANYTHING should be gleamed from all the comments made especially about her website it is that if you don't put proof of your health testing ON the site, people looking for that kind of thing are just going to go on to the next site and not give it another look.

Still doesn't explain why she's breeding bitches under 2 though, really honestly, there's no GOOD excuse for it.

I'm still waiting for an answer to my question.
"what in your eyes makes these pups show quality at their ages?"
But I'm starting to think it won't get answered.

I still dont see the need to rip her a new one because she posted pics of puppies.

how about "aww cute pups"
and then in your head say "i cannot believe she is saying they are show quality when she doesnt show and they are so young etc etc etc"

hasnt anyone ever heard of if you dont have nothing nice to say dont say nothing at all? I think its very disrespectful

I agree DAB, but in the same sense isn't the "aww they are adorable" just boosting her ego with her shady practices? I mean, there's no doubt they are cute, but so are puppies at the pet store, yet we don't condone that either.

and with all her info in her post.. its free advertising.. and if we all just say 'cute puppies' we are endorsing her breeding habits, and giving tacit approval of the pups themselves.

If she just wanted people to admire the pups then she didn't have to tell us she is trying to represent the pups as something they are not.

If this was someone off the street I probably wouldn't say much .... but this a forum to learn ! We've had many open their minds here and have become better owners and breeders .
