Maine Puppy Mill Busted - Yay

Over 200 dogs seized from Heidi and John Frasca in Buxton, Maine. Dogs were suffering from Giardia, sarcoptic mange, etc. This is a notorious mill that the state of Maine has been watching for some time - I reported on them a few times myself. The story is on www.wmtw.com today. Animals are being taken to Westbrook and to Kennebunk Animal Refuge. I have notified MARS Mini Aussie Rescue and a friend will notify Sheltie rescue, but if you have other rescue contacts in Maine for other breeds, there were a lot - I think GSD's, American Bulldog, Frenchies, etc. so please notify your rescue groups, if your breed seems to be affected, so maybe some of the dogs can get pulled if necessary.

Sadly, working mills with numbers like this exist all over and are excused in the name of "sport."
