My dad forgot to bring her inside during a storm while I was in classes. She's scared of storms, so I'm guessing she got out of the fence and ran for it.

I don't know what to do. I've posted "missing" ads everywhere I can possibly think, and I'm going to the shelter first thing in the morning, as well as printing out flyers.

I'm so scared and shocked.

Hope you find her soon! Definitely check the shelters daily. I know here they only hold dogs for 72 hours.

Oh god, that's so scary! I hope she turns up soon. Is she afraid of people or does she typically like them?

Lots of vibes

Not only all shelters, but knock on neighbours doors. I have heard so many times a dog has gotten out and a neighbour takes the dog in but for what ever reason doesn't let the world know they found a dog. Contact vets, sometimes people call vets. Call your local radio station, for some reason people will call if they find dogs.

Oh my goodness, I'm so so sorry. I can't imagine how that would feel.

Call vets and shelters in your area - give them her description and ask them to keep their eyes open. Definitely call daily!

Post on facebook, craigslist, any local forums. I'd also print out flyers and put them EVERYWHERE. Offer a reward for her safe return if you can. Kerri's idea of knocking on doors is a great one!

Oh no!!! I second what everyone has said! ((((Vibes)))))

I had a sweet Border Collie show up at work a couple years back, turns out she was afraid of storms and had been out in the barn when a suprise storm blew through, we put flyers up that we had found her and her owners saw them when hanging their lost flyers, fingers crossed you have the same happy ending!!

Oh no :( Post on FB and craigslist for sure. Missing dog ads on FB can go viral overnight. Are any chazzers close by to help with the search? Sending "go home" vibes to her!

Ugh how worrisome! I second what Dekka suggested. Have you driven around and called for her? That helped when we lost a dog. Even if the dog doesn't come to you, people see you looking, hear you calling etc and figure it out.

Oh no! I am so sorry. I don't have any suggestions aside from what's already been mentioned, but I hope you are able to find her soon! I can just imagine how worried sick you must be. :(

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I really appreciate them. Tomorrow is going to be dedicated to finding my girl. Linds, she loves anyone and everyone, so catching her won't be an issue.

I am a wreck right now. I can’t remember the last time I’ve cried this much.

I keep thinking of everything awful that could have happened to her. It doesn’t help that there have been so many reports of a couple in my city picking up dogs and torturing them lately.

Just the thought of that happening to my happy, smiley Maggie…oh my god.
