Maggie really isn't my dog, and so she lives at my parent's house and I really don't work with her much. As a result, she really doesn't know a lot of tricks, but I've never made a video, so, uh, here we go?

And I've also got a question. We just started working on the "spin" trick two days ago, and as you can see from the video, I have to do the spinning motion with my finger in order for her to do it; she's not "following" my finger anymore, but she won't do it unless I do a general spinning motion.

How do I get her to spin with just the voice command? It's the only trick where I have to use a gesture.

You can fade your hand signal - start making it smaller and less noticeable, and that should do the job!

Her roll over was so cute hahaha!

Give the voice cue before giving the hand signal. The voice cue should predict that the hand signal is coming and eventually she will to the behavior before you give the hand signal at which point you should jackpot her. Looks lovely!

Thanks guys! I did a combination of giving the command first, and making the actual hand command smaller and smaller, and now she doesn't need the hand signal anymore :D

And yeah, she IS cute, haha. She's just too fat to be able to roll over properly
