As part of my new job, I am supposed to be trying to put my finger on the pulse of the Mac world, or something like that... Anyway, I've never been able to actually afford a Mac, the only Mac product I own is an iPod shuffle I bought on mega sale to use on my runs - so I'm kind of out of my element as far as that goes. I'm not even really sure where to start, so I thought I would ask here because I know there's lots of you here who love your Mac products almost as much as you love your SO, hahaha.

Suggestions of blogs or forums or something to check out? Somewhere just to get started and I can start diving in?
    Thanks!

    I really like: http://www.reddit.com/r/apple/search?q=apple&sort=relevance&restrict_sr=on
there is also a bunch of subreddits off that.. Applehelp, macgaming etc..

and this is basically the forum I run to when I have a question lol https://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa
and forum for everything else: http://forums.macrumors.com/

Hope it helps :) everything is pretty user friendly just using the product wise.. so just dive in
I'm not really active on any of the above.. I'll ask a question if I'm panicking about something and browse the reddit with everything else though lol

I have a Macbook and an iPhone, but I am not a part of any forums about macs. I'm sort of awful at technology (which is why I got mac products, they're easier to use) and am not interested enough to talk to others about it. I'd be willing to answer any questions you have about my experience with mac products, though! :)
