She is here. Luna and Sheena slept in the crate together for the 90 minute drive. She has had a bath and is doing great. Right now she is out at the potty pen starting her house training. We took some pictures of her bath and we will take some more soon. We will post them as soon as she is sleeping. Just wanted you to know all is well.

You got that right. She has already used the potty pen once. She is now in her crate for the night. Her schedule starts tomorrow. She has never worn a collar or had a leash on. But within 15 minutes of her having both on she was following on it and coming when called. She loves to give kisses too.

Now off to finish getting the pictures ready so I can post them.

As you can see as soon as we got home she had a bath. And she was so good the entire time. DIdn't put up a fuss at all. The funniest part of the whole evening is when Luna and Zen met. He is not the least scared of her or vice versa. They were chasing each other around a lot while Luna dried off.

Now for pictures:

Originally I was going to go into fostering for a rescue agian. I do miss it and after 13yrs in it I know I am good at it. But since the fence around our yard was not tall enough for the rescues that option was out. So we decided on getting Luna. And I am so glad we did. It is a new chapter in our life that I can't wait to get started on. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Oh, she's so CUTE! And what a good girl to not fuss about the bath. This is going to be so much fun for all of us.

She is a sweet heart. She follows Sheena around wonderfully which is what we were hoping. If she has the temperment for it I will be training her to be Sheena's replacement for when Sheena retires. THough I don't think Sheena plans to retire any time soon. lol So far this morning she is following her schedule very well. I will post more pictures as I take them.

As you can see so far she is really favouring the lab part of her parentage. You should have seen some of her siblings. All but one had her colour and 3 of them had these ice blue eyes. The one that didn't have her coloring had the GSD coloring with ice blue eyes too. Stunning was the word that came to mind.

Aw, contrats on the new member of your family! She's really adorable! You know, I don't care how much work new puppies are - they are definitely worth it. :)

I just got a priceless shot. All three around the cat tree. Zen is at the top and Luna at the bottom and Sheena is beside them. I did not set this shot up. Zen was already asleep at the top when Luna currled up at the bottom and Sheena came over too.

And BM Luna is trying to compete with Benjamin for the most flexible puppy routine. Though I think your pup has her beat easily just don't tell her that.

Doug teaching Luna about the toy box. She learned this one quickly and was climbing in and out for toys within minutes.

The rest are just cute pictures

She is already telling us when she needs to go out. She had one accident in house. Our fault though. She had gone to the door and cried to be taken out and Doug got side tracked for a minute thinking she was fine since she walked away from the door. When he walked to the door she piddled on the mat in front of the door. He admitted it was totally his fault. She went out and peed agian and since then has not had an accident and has been letting us know with a cry at the door that she needs to go out. Talk about quick student.

THanks. We think her ears are going to stand up. This morning was funny. Luna gave Doug a bit of a scare. When he took the dogs out to the pen to potty I got their breakfast ready. Luna's was on the table because right now we feed her with our hands in the dish. When the dogs came in Sheena went to her dish and started eating. Luna followed before Doug could stop her and she stuck her nose in Sheena's dish and started eating. Sheena just kept on eating with not a sound or care. I had told Doug this was what she was like but this was the first time he had seen it. We gave sheena a good reward for her great behaviour while Luna chowed down on her breakfast. Good start to the morning. Right now they are both chowing down on frozen deer bones. Luna is teething and wanting to chew on everything so this is perfect for her.
