Lucas and Little kids

Lucas LOVES little kids sooo much! I think the main reason is cause they are about eye level to him lol He is constantly trying to lick their faces also

I'm babysitting (well I was, they just left) a 3 yr old boy and 5 yr old boy, this is in return for my friend watching Lucas while I'm gone. Both are really cute kids and behaved beautifully, though the little one always turns his back and screams a little when Lucas comes up to him lol. He stopped that after a while and loves lucas now. Lucas was LOVING being able to lick their faces and eat the crumbs the 3 yr old dropped everywhere

The little boy (3 yr old) slept on the floor last night with blankets and Lucas gave him a really surprising wake up call! He went in, as quiet as possible, and started licking the little boys face while he was asleep lol Then the little boy shot up, saying "EWWW" lol, and Lucas decides to take the chance to steal his pillow and lay on it himself :lol-sign: It was rather cute!! He let the little boy lay next to him and use HIS pillow lol

I had pictures, I did really!! But they got deleted or didn't save or something cause they aren't on my camera anymore :/ They also both got to make Lucas do tricks and learn a bit about dogs, so that was fun. It was just rather cute to see Lucas with kids!

Milo goes INSANE when he sees a kid. All he wants to do is play with them. I think he thinks anything smaller than about 50 pounds and shorter than 5' is another dog. He always tries to bring his toys and pushes them in the kids faces. if we're out and he sees and kid he always tries to run towards them, and if they look scared and i tell him to stay by me, he just watches them so sad.

i'm sure Lucas really loves the kids though, they're his height!

having a dog and kids together is a great chance to teach responsible pet ownership, my brother's twelve and i'm teaching him how to train my mom's dog. especially if you have a calm dog and the kid is afraid of dogs, it's a great chance to "cure" their fear.

Awww, no pics! That's great that Lucas was so great with the kids! Kenzie LOVES my grandchildren too and is so very careful and gentle with them. My grandson (4 yrs old) and her love to play tag. He'll chase her around the house, tap her and tell her she's "it" then run. She immediately chases him and gently bumps him with her nose then immediately turns and runs again. It's so funny to watch. These breeds are great with kids and the elderly aren't they! Good boy Lucas!

lol Lucas LOVES older people as well! We once met a two older ladies who walked down our street. One was in a wheelchair and the other pushed her along. Lucas first met them on one of our walks and, as he was still younish (2 or 3 yrs) and I hadn't totally gotten out of jumping on people I was a bit worried, but they wanted to pet him and I know when he's about to jump so I said ok. He LOVED them and was SOO gentle! He put his head in the lap of the one in the wheelchair and licked gently and let them pet and rub him! It was very cute! He also still had this strange fascination with licking people's feet, but that's another story lol But this became our regular routine on walks. Walk for a while and on the way back greet the ladies and they seemed to enjoy it almost as much as Lucas did. After a month I didn't see them anymore

I'm sorry!! *cries* I really did get pics! I don't know why they wheren't saved on my camera but they aren't showing up in the "saved photo" section. I swear I'll do better next time!!! lol

It really is a cute thing to see! Lucas is such a baby at heart

I agree I think the reason why most of my dogs love all kids our family and strangers is they can get to the face quicker for a licking.

This pic was taken at a ATTS test after the protection part.
As soon as the kids said his name he went in for a kiss when MOM did not bend down enough he got his kiss any way.
