Love or hate christmas music?

Do you like when radio stations begin playing NOTHING but christmas music?

This is one person that has always hated it. Still do. I personally listen to contemporary christian music. I understand that Christmas is about Jesus, but ALL the songs on the channel are about God and Jesus, "the reason for the season", so WHY must they have christmas music CONSTANTLY playing!?

Try to flip to another station and the only stations not playing christmas music are rap and heavy metal. Blech.

I can/do enjoy some christmas music, but only if I choose to listen to it, not it being the ONLY choice to listen to in the car!

I like a little Christmas music on like... Christmas Eve but that's about it. Luckily I listen to rock which is relatively unaffected by holiday music.

I don't like when that's ALL they play, but yes in general I like Christmas music. Sing it at random times throughout the year and have to catch myself because whistling Christmas tunes is so **** fun, yet people give you odd looks.

So Christmas time allows me to whistle AND be trendy at the same time.

Luckily I listen to rock which is relatively unaffected by holiday music.

Except that **** John Lennon song..."So this is Christmas, and what have you done, another year over....warrrr isssss ovvveeerrrr, warrr issss ooooovvveerrrrr"

Not a bad song, but they play that so **** often....

I love it. I wish there was a station that played it all year round lol. I typically don't listen to it in the car unless there's just nothing on my Ipod I want to listen to, but when I'm driving with other people or when I'm doing things around the house... I love having Christmas music.

There's one radio station here that plays mostly Christmas music at the moment, which I really like, but I also enjoy the option of switching to another station that still plays regular music with a bit of Christmas thrown in. Come Dec. 20th or so though, Christmas music is all I really listen to for a week or so.

I'm all over it. My iPod is currently loaded with 2 gig of Christmas music and whenever I'm in the car, B101.1 is on, which is "Philadelphia's Christmas Station". My wife has a differing opinion lol

I love it!! One of our stations is one of those that switches over to being all Christmas 24/7. We started on Thanksgiving and won't stop until Christmas Day. I usually station surf or listen to our rock station but since Friday the car radio has been pretty firmly hanging out on the one playing Christmas music.

It's also the only time of year any of our stations play my favourite band (they play Jars of Clay's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman") so I looooove it! I heard them play it last night after I went to the grocery store and was grinning ear to ear.

I'm another that LOVES it! Christmas music is very much one of those things that puts me in the holiday spirit. Plus as GO said, the songs are so fun to sing

I also take my iPod in the car though, so I don't have to listen to it 24/7 if I'm feeling like something else.

Shoot, they were playing Christmas music on the radio around here a week or more BEFORE Thanksgiving...........that's just wrong!

I LOVE Christmas music It's this time of year that I completely empty off my iPod and fill it with all Christmas music!!!

Granted with the exception of a couple 80's/early 90's classics, I listen mostly to twisted-type Christmas music.

CAn't abide it before THanksgiving as well. Love to play it, like to go to the nursing home with my keyboard and play requests back in the rooms where people can't get out of bed..I think it is some of the most beautiful music ever.

My personal favorite right now is Also God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman but it's the version with the Barenaked Ladies and Sarah Mclachlan. LOVE that one this year.
