The horses looked hilarious the other day, they had icicles hanging off them all over, they looked like those beaded lampshades! lol! They have a lovely shelter, thick warm straw bed in there, with a hay manger, but no... They stand out in the pelting snow! Animals huh! Hee hee!
When I had my horse...he has a nice little barn that he could go into to keep warm but he didn't like it. He'd stand out in the snow with icicles hanging off his little whiskers. If I'd go sit in the barn with him, he'd stay. I'm surprised I didn't sleep out there with him.
They have indeed! Hee hee! It always amazes me how adaptable animals are... One day it's raining, next 6" of snow and still they wander about as if nothing has happened!
