Look what I found today....

Today on my way to the stables to ride my horse I turned from a very busy road into a fairly quite one and found these two little things wandering down the road. They were very, very hungry, thirsty and very, very scared and wet. Its been raining really bad her in Houston for a few days and it looks like they were out in it all.

The ladies who own the stables took them in dried them off, fed them, watered them and they were going to take them to the Humane Society but I have a feeling they might still be there when I go tomorrow.

Yep looks like it where I found them is out in the country, only a handful of places they could have come from, the ladies who own the stables phoned the few neighbours to check they didnt belong there. The ladies said that they are always getting dogs that have been dumped sometimes they have to go out and shoot some of them as people hit them with their trucks or cars and then continue to drive leaving the dogs badly damaged but still alive.

They are really cute, once we wrapped them in little blankets they just cuddled up and slept, poor things were all skin and bone, its heart breaking.
