I know I know, they are generally undesirable.
But it doesn't make them any less adorable.

Fluffy Dalmatian

Most of these would easily be written off as mixes, I'm sure.
But it can happen in a lot, if not most breeds.

Aww, beautiful! Most of those I didn't even know came in long hair!

Your forgot akitas. :D

They are sooooo cute as puppies. They look like they are wearing bear suits, lol.

This is my bros long haired akita. He looks like a panda bear, but we refer to him as "The Mega Chow".

Long haired whippets while a recessive are workign on breed recognition, they are becoming less rare, they don't randomly crop up in a litter the way a long haired dalmation does.

Yep long haired whippets used to be allowed.. then was written out of the breed standard (for no good reason that I can see-other than politics) There are people out there dedicated to keeping them. Whippets used to come in wire coat.. but as that is dominant its easy to breed out.

for some LHW pics...http://home.ica.net/~westwood/lwapets.htm
and a few of my two..

Are you asking what is blurred in this pic?

Its likely a piece of grass/plant. Mark was taking pics with the telephoto lens sitting on the ground, that was likely a piece of greenery right near him. Nothing is photoshopped. Well I did add an adjustment layer and cropped the pic ;). LOL my shopping skills are much higher than that!

I've never seen a fluffy whippet or Dal. before! They're beautiful!

That Fluffy Whippet Almost Almost Almost looks like a skinny R.I. Setter look to it.

Dekka- what a lovely (sorry, don't know if Dash is pretty or handsome!) dog! I wasn't 100% positive on Argon being a Whippet cross until I saw your dogs stride. Argon's is identical. Dad calls it the "Sissy boy prance!"
