its been too long!!

Actually it hasn't been that long - but you just can't keep me away! When I sent my battery in I asked them to please hurry because I didn't like making payments on a laptop I can't even use :p
And hurry they did!
Yay, Dell!

I missed you guys and I have a lot of catching up to do...

Just wanted to pop in and say "I'm Baaaaack!!"

Nothing's really changed, I'm still dogsitting Riley. Her, Missy, and Maddie have been romping around the house full-force. Its fun to watch, so I don't mind the picking up of books and stuff they knock down as they fly by! She's going to be missed when her Momma picks her up tomorrow or Monday. . .

The only thing that's up is my EX b/f is harassing me again. The one I got out of before it got too abusive because he was putting his hands on me and physically stopping me from leaving.
I changed my cell # 2x and he's somehow gotten it again. He keeps calling and calling and calling, and gets mad when I don't answer. He left me a voicemail saying that finding me is like finding Osama bin laden... hard but worth it. I'll be there one second and then I'll be gone, and I'll be gone for weeks and then I'll pop up somewhere... Like a sci-fi movie... I hope I "pop up" with Missy by my side and I'll convinently lose my grip on the leash and she'll tear into his --- ...

My Dad is looking at this dog called Mallory or something, he saw her on the website thedogguydon.com. He wants me to get rid of Charlie :( *sigh*

Well, I have a lot of catching up to do, and I have some questions I need to get posted lol.

I missed you guys!

Sounds like you need to look into a restraining order. Just something to put him on record. What he's doing is called stalking in the eyes of the law . . . Sure glad you've got Missy!

Maybe if you asked your Dad if he'd rather have traded you in on a different kid he'd get the idea about wanting you to get rid of Charlie and replace him with another dog . . . I swear, we do our best to raise our parents and teach them right from wrong . . . ;)

It's a good thing this apple fell far from the tree :D I think I bumped my head on the way down, though

He might say yes and then he wouldn't have this problem... LoL

I think I might try another approach. Like RD and her bc, many people wanted a Cocker after meeting Maddie. Now my parents want a GSD because of how *perfect* Missy is [brags]. They're liable to get a handful. And I know they won't be willing to work with her - that'll be my job. Walking 4 dogs is enough! I'm withering away to nothing, LOL! Lost too many #

Thanks for the X-b/f advice... I was nervous about him before but now that I have "big dog arms" (such guns from walking the dogs I'm told lol) I feel like knocking him out...

Ahh....

I forgot to tell you guys!! My (new) nextdoor neighbors talked to me and said they were glad I moved back. Several days ago Jim came over and asked if I could follow him and that he needed help. I followed somewhat reluctantly - I was about to walk the dogs and its a long process that shouldn't be delayed (lol)
In his garage he had 6 2 week old kittens! Someone dumped the preggy momma on them and she was sick and so she dried up. They bought milk replacement and were bottle feeding them one by one; and naturally they asked for my help. One was beyong help, though. He was cold when I got there - barely breathing. So I've been going over and feeding the kittens 2 or 3 times a day to give them a break... I'd forgotten how much work it is!
We called 2 rescues (because we can't afford to vet all 5 kittens, the momma was already rehomed) to see if they can help with that and both said no. The FAPL said that there is a waiting list of 53 ppl waiting to dump their cats. Isn't that horrible ??
-----------------------------------
I'm trying to find a good home for Charlie :( Things are just out of my hands now and it's worse for him if I fight it... Really long story... I'm so sad...
My Mother went to look at that GSD. My Dad's going to look at it and wants me to come with. Honestly, I refuse. I'm trying to make this whole living-with-my-parents-thing work, and moving out is something that is going to be on hold for a while now...

According to them I brought the "dog drama" with me ~
----------
Oh, and I had dog training classes today with Maddie and they went really really well. The trainer commented that I could probably teach the whole class, and then she had me teach "Stand" It went really well, though, and the owners were joking that they should fire the trainer and hire me. She laughed, but I doubt she'll make me teach the class again LOL

After class Freckles's (a cocker spaniel) Mom asked me if I could maybe dog sit Freckles nest weekend. :D I sure hope I can! Riley's leaving tonight and I'm going to miss her lots!! And the brats will too...

I feel so sad for you and Charlie . . . Maybe you should sabotage your parents' attempts to adopt another dog by letting the rescues/breeders know about their recent history of pushing one out to make room for another. It does sound like the best dog for them is one of those robotic dogs Sony makes . . . I've got a friend like that. He wants a dog, but he won't make that lifetime commitment and he won't give his heart. I have already told Charley that when/if we have pups, Gary will NOT be getting one.

Avoid him at all costs. That Bin Laden comment is creepy as hell. Call the cops, get this on record. Get a restraining order if you can. If you can afford it, contact a lawyer. Stalkers should not be taken lightly, especially since he's tried to physically restrain you in the past.

Don't sic your dog on him, then HE'S got a beef the courts will take seriously. Keep the dog on the lead, keep the dog in between the two of you. That should be sufficient ;)

I agree - it was very unsettling !! We ran into eachother at the college today... and I gave him an ultimatum. Stop calling me, and stop running into me, or I'll call the cops. The second my phone rings and the caller ID says its you, I'm calling the cops. If I see you around my block, I'm calling the cops. Leave. Me. Alone! Although, since I live with my parents now he doesn't know where I live. His eyes looked very angry, but his actions were "sweet" and his words were kind when he said okay, I'm sorry, I never ment to blah blah blah -- I've heard that all before!
I'm hoping that's enough, though I doubt it will be, but atleast he had his warning... I'd really hate to actually have to call the cops or get a restraining order. That just makes it too real, too serious. The thought of it all drug out legally scares me. . . .

I was j/k about sicing my dog on him. I would never do that to Missy... :D  :p

Oh, and good idea Renee - I'll call in the morning before I go to work... That'll solve it; I'll just be sure to not mention my name and remind them to be casual in their disapproval ;)
