Little guy got neutered

Yesterday and all night he cried, and he cried when I picked him up this am my little girl didn't do this when she was spayed... how can I relieve his pain??

I would call the vet. My dogs never had this reaction either.

I Agree...I would call the Vet as well....Tater didnt make a peep when he got home....Does the area look real swollen or any puss or anything?!?

Is it a painful cry or does it seem to be without any rhyme or reason. Some dogs react to the anesthetic/sedation with whining. It's almost involuntary.

Bjorn did the same thing when he was neutered. He was done at a low cost place, so we took him to our normal vet and they gave us pain medicine for him. Most males don't seem to even notice they had surgery..but some do, and some dogs just need pain meds.

It would be safe to visit the vet just to make sure everything looks alright.

As someone else has already suggested, some dogs will whine and cry as a reaction to anesthesia. It is pretty common.

If he is crying 24 hours after the surgery, then something else may be bothering him :/
