so vixie started limping aboutt eh beginning of the week...
she has 1 nail that grows very wide at the base and looked to be putting pressure on the pad, so my mum cut it and cut the quick, (i wasnt home at the time)
i figured the limping at that poitn was from a sore toenail...but she was still doing it the next day and due to the fact luxation is common off to the vets we whent.
the vet checked out the leg, hip, knee and ankle, no griding, no sighns of luxation no pain no whimpering or pulling away or reaction. she has feeling n the leg, jsut not any kind of pain we can figure out...
an xray showed nothing..
so could it just be shes a drama queen? is the toenail still hurting? we cant figure it out...
she gets glucosamine supliments as im trying to avoid any kind of luxation...
so confused, as is the vet, she even had a second vet come in and feel the movement of the knee and check the xrays...she says no luxation whatsoever, and that vixie doesnt seem to be in any kind of pain or discomfort.
ive checked her paws no barbs and nothing stuck between the toes...
nothing to indicate a bite or a sting...
both me and the vets are confused as to why shes favoring the leg, and sinxe xrays came up clear and shes not in pain theres not much we can do to resolve the problem. IDEAS?
