Okay. When someone leaves something like that target you described on your door, it needs to be documented in a police report. That's a threat.

He put it up at the matrimonial property which I moved out of and he still lives in. He knows I go there every day to care for my plants which I will be moving and for insurance purposes because someone has to check on it every 24 hrs., as he goes out of town for a minimum of 3 weeks, last time it was 6 weeks.

And yes, it was a threat. My lawyer also advised I file a report. Have been putting it off.

IMO, if you left him and the relationship is over.. it does no good for you to go checking his emails. It is dishonest, even if you have no reason to be loyal to him, and I don't see where it is beneficial to you. Move on, and I think things will look up for you.
