We are down to the last week of waiting.
I started the temperature chart today. 99.8 this morning. Very normal for her stage of pregnancy.
Today I am reworking and rearranging the (now feeling very tiny) whelping room. Washing all the bedding, cleaning the box again. All the girls like the box. They like to come a lay down in it, so it needs vacuuming and wiped down.
I've gotten my forms ready so I can document each puppy from birth. I will keep records of birth order, weights, all medical attention, etc on each puppy. A copy of this will go home with each new puppy person.
My equipment from WhelpWise should be here on Monday, and I will go Mon or Tues to pick up my meds from the repro vet. I am still not sure if I'm going to exray her or not.
Puppies are moving a lot today. I'm excited, nervous, and really looking forward to a box of squirming puppies.
I'm sure Penny is really looking forward to them squirming OUTSIDE her body instead of inside it.
