Andy - Where the heck was your 12 guage?!?!?! Two of em gots bands! Just kidding.

They are Canada geese but cannot tell exactly which species. If Narcan had been there Im sure he wouldve attempted to make a retrieve, LOL.

But that is a really good pic of some geese.

Andrew...I love this photo! Actually all of your photos are awesome! Is this what you do for a living? Very nice work! I can't believe that they didn't hear you.

LOL Renee! Lorri says it's 'Goose Tai chi'.

Ryan,
Dream job maybe. These guys were pretty oblivious to me. It's a pretty busy park so I'm sure they're used to the tourists.

And thanks everyone for commenting! I really appreciate it! :)

So, Mr. National Geographic, when can we start expecting to see your work in print and on shelves? Or on the newstands?

You should just compile your favorites and sell it as a coffeetable book.

I can't believe you are not a professional photographer (I know you are not, but your photos are so good!). My ex-brother law took photos for a living and his shots never impressed me as much. Whether for money or pleasure I hope you find somewhere you can display your photos to a wider audience - but keep posting them for us too :)

My next toy is going to be 70-200 2.8 L  But i need few more checks from website for that.

I think 200mm should be nice on 1.6x crop.

That would be sweet! From what I've heard, it's a great lens.

Mine next toy is portable storage - nothing fancy either. The Hyperdrive HD80 with a 60gig drive should be adequate for pretty much any day/weekend or week outing....and it runs on AA batteries.
