You have got to be kidding. That is sick. When I go on vacation, my dogs are walked, fed, petted and just in general taken care of. You can't just leave it there with food.

NO way ,u cant just leave dogs alone they need company ,& walks DAILY. If left alone for that long i think my dogs & any dogs would probably go mad & yes tear up your home.

Noooo! If you are leaving or going on vacation , have a friend, realitive, or neighbor, come over everyday a few times a day, to feed , water play and/or walk the dog. If you can't find anyone you could always call a critter sitter. If you find the right one they aren't too exspensive, and the people who do it are usually animal lovers , so your dog would be in good hands. I know with most you can choose how often you want them to visit. (my sister use to work for critter sitters part time just for fun)

You can't leave a dog alone like that for two weeks. Too many things could happen. Either hire a petsitter or take your dog to the kennel. That way, you're completely worry-free.

Even a day is NOT fine. All day long, cooped up without being taken to pee? No way.

I've ever left my dog to my parents-in-laws for a couple of days, and when I was back, he became almost blind!

I won't do that anymore.
