Least favorite couples in books, tv or film?

When I was brainstorming my favorites...a few "unfavorites" came to mind. Couples that just don't work, no chemistry.

Kate & Jack from LOST - just totally annoying together

Bette & Tina from the L Word - they just don't seem to have sexual chemistry and the relationship seems mildly abusive. Seems like the whole relationship is Bette controlling Tina and Tina being codependent.

Meredith & McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy - at first I really liked them, now I find the writers constant plot inventions to keep them apart really silly and find the melodrama between them annoying. Maybe McDreamy and Izzy should get together?

Any others come to mind?

Kate & Jack from LOST - just totally annoying together

See, I think they are perfect together, because I think they are the most annoying characters on the show. Actually, they should have a threesome with Charlie, and then all the annoyingness could be contained. I've been rewatching the whole series this summer with a friend who had never seen it, and I'd forgotten just how much those three drive me up the wall....

As far as other pairings, I'll have to think on it.
