Seems to me to be another strain of the Inuit Dog/Canadian Eskimo Dog/Greenland Dog. All these dogs are basically the same, all have the same roots, but are each slightly different.

Anyone sick of all these breeders trying to create a new breed. I just think it's a waste! there are plenty of dogs like that... called mutts, and their great! You can rescue them or get them at the pound for slim pickens'. Maybe it's just me but I've had enough with the Slabordoodles, Cocapoodles, and Yahoomoodles. I feel like I've entered the world of Dr. Seuss.

Did I miss something here or doesnt the Labrador in the name of the breed refer to the location the dog breed is from and not part of a cutesy name for some mutt?

Maybe growwing up with a Candian step dad helped me figure that one out, or maybe it was actualy reading the story.
I actually read the story, because when I saw the title of the thread I was think lab / husky's but when I actually READ the whole story I realized that is was Labador Husky's (if that makes any sense) :lol-sign:

In this case the "Labrador Husky" is actually a Husky from Labrador. :) Not a Lab mixed with Husky (Thank goodness).

Tis actually a Huskey from Labrador.. that's why I posted the link.. :p

I just didn't know if it was an actual recognized breed with standards etc.. or if it was more of just a 'breed' breed.. :p
