Lab/Golden Books

I'm looking for books about golden retrievers and labs and there are so many out there that seem to be generalized info that you could apply to any breed. Do any of you lab and golden owners have any books that you would recommend? We're getting either a lab or golden this summer and I want to read up on the specifics of each breed. I'm looking for info on training, personality, abilities, health concerns, history, basically everything I can learn about both breeds so that I can decide which one suits my family best.

It's been a long time...but when we got our lab (12 years ago!)--I remember reading a book called Water Dogs--it was really a good read re: labs. I would recommend it--don't have the author though!

My last book is at Seger's house , and I can't remember the title !!! I loved the pictures of the Goldens what were in my lines.
