Of course I wouldn't! Gosh, what a thing to say. As soon as Ciana was 6 months old, she was spayed.
I am more worried about the dogs comfort and life span. Originally, I was thinking of vet bills, too, but I just spent $600 on an emergency room visit for Doerak and didn't think twice about spending it, or the blood stains that won't come out of my carpet.
If he comes out normal, and that's still a possibility, he's have to show well, and the bitch would also have to show well. If he ends up neutered, that's fine, too.
So, I read everything (just about) on the internet, and spoke to my vet about it. The breeder is giving me a discount on the dog, and shipping costs are halved because he's coming over with is brother in the same kennel. He sounds like he has a wonderful temperament and I'll be picking him up on Thursday. Lucky dog!
