Can either of these foods be fed to both adults and large breed puppies? If i do choose this food i am thinking about the Lamb and Rice

OKay after reading more about the recalls i think i have decided to buy Canidae - For all life stages, it doesnt have any corn in it and I believe it can be fed to both my puppy when i get it and the adult dog i have now . However, it does not say that it has glucosomine in it, does a large breed puppy(dogue de bordeaux) HAVE to have extra glucosomine in their food, i heard that Lamb is a natural source of gluco and Canidae has Lamb Meal in it , so does this mean that Canidae has gluco in it? sorry if this sounds confusing.

If Canidae does not have it already in it then you can always supplement. I am thinking of doing this with my own dog -- to help with his bad hips. But before I start I am going to check with my vet first... but at least it's an option

I don't believe there is enough glucosomine in any of the foods to make a difference. If you think your dog will need it, then add it. One of things taht a large breed food provides is controlled calcium. Canidae's calcium content is within the correct range for a large breed dog.
