Yes it was...but as much as it hurt them they had to take the photos for Evidence. Those pictures are heartbreaking....but I try to look at it as:

Gage's last chance to speak...We are his voice but those heartwrenching photo's are Gage's chance to show just how trusting he was, for he was right at the fence line when he was purposely shot...

I guess I am trying to see some good come out of those pictures, because they are a awful reminder that we would rather not have around.
