Just wondering about fleas

Well just wondering does every dog eventaually get fleas? or almost everydog? what works best to get rid of em? hes already had a pill but that obviously didnt work :s iv heard of sprays? are these anygood?

Best thing for Fleas is Frontline Plus. One application a month and no fleas!!!

I don't use any of those harmful Pesticide's on my dog and fall into the money trap of frontline and advantage etc . I go all natural and use critter oil on my dog. Anything that says to keep away from children and wash your hands after application has to raise a red flag in your mind. Is it really safe for your dog

I use Frontline Plus on my 2 and we have no problem with fleas and my dogs haven't had any adverse reactions to it.

I use the once a month too ( K9 Advantix)... Before that came out, I felt my dogs had more chances of illness from shampoos, dips, sprays etc almost daily. Some were allergic to flea/tick/mosquitoe bites and would get horrible , painful hotspots .... not to mention tapeworm. Expensive ?? Yes. But so were vet calls. and meds . And yes, if your dog is around squirrels,rabbits,cats etc... you can expect fleas.

Hi Red_ACD_for_me--I'm with you and the natural alternatives! I'm curious as to exactly what 'critter oil' is though---do you blend your own essential oils, or is there a ready made product by that name?

so how do you use the critter oil? It doesn't say. Is it the same as other flea stuff?
