I think this fits better in this thread:

I found this on another website (I will not post the link as I believe that is against forum rules) and I feel completely fooled. I understand that I should not judge before hearing from her- but I am at a loss of words at this point. This was posted on March 26, 2010, btw. So I am wondering how "accidental" that breeding was.

Ruby: my heart dog, powderpuff chinese crested
(hopefully will be becomming a mommy soon)
shes also CGC, we got her a few points but she doesnt like the ring much, she is however a wroking service and therapy dog :) im hoping to get some good prospects out of this breeding :)

If you read that post, you will see she found that on ANOTHER website. I don't see where that means anyone at chaz 'condones' BYB

While I definitely understand the confusion and concern, I feel like something that is being considerably overlooked is that, this breeding was supposedly an accident. I understand that it's likely because her story is confusing, but there is a lot more flack in this thread than in other threads resident to Chaz featuring 'Oops Litters' and long term members. Just food for thought.
well... she did make mention in the first post that this was planned litter... just wasn't supposed to happen for a while longer.

So while it was an oops litter at this TIME this pairing was not an oops.

sorry you are right , i was jumping the gun a bit ,

i should have said "if she is allowed to continue to be a mod then will it be that chaz's core values have changed and byb are now allowed?"

i liked foxy , she has alot to offer , but if she cant even not wait 9 months to have the dog health tested ( where these dogs are really from aside ) screams that she is producing puppies for profit ONLY. not to better the breed .

sorry to ramble , but i am watching this very carefully to see if this place is what i thought it was.

and Ruby: shes my babydoll (and is realy a powderpuff), shes CGC cert and delta therapy certified she is also currently my acting service dog (im epileptic) shes 10lbs and ive never shown her, she doesnt like the noise.
Yet another confusion here... won't say what forum but it was posted Jan.22/10 so not very long ago really. It goes from Champ on here, to a few points, to not being shown at all?

Foxy just come forward and TELL THE TRUTH. It's better to admit that you've lied and move on with the truth, you'll be better for it and i bet alot of people will respect you for it.

I am so confused, lol.

I mean whether the breeding was planned or not, if the dogs are not shown and come from weird breeders, I don't exactly consider that responsible breeding.

byb are now allowed?"
Unless there is a rule I missed, bybs have always been "allowed"--people might question them, by they are not prohibited from the board, nor do I think they should be.

Although Foxy is certainly within her rights to do what she will with her dogs, just speaking for myself I would prefer honesty if this breeding was not an accident. I don't care if the both parent were from pet shops, were not health tested, had never seen the inside of a show ring, and were bred only to make "cute puppez!!!!!!," I'd rather have someone come out and say that rather than being lied to......

From another forum...

ruby has a heart issue and the vet doesnt want to spay her...not a problem in terms of saftey i odnt own an intact male and shes not around intact males...

but heres where the question comes in...i got her at about 5 months old...
shes now 1 yr 3 months old and thus far i have not noticed ANY sign of a heat from her
my male chi wasnt neutered untill 2 yrs old (hes 3 lbs full grown i was trying to get him a little bigger lol) and can tell and does indicate when any dog is in heat, yet hes never given me an indication on ruby (even a scilent heat hed know ...) ive noticed no swelling, no blood, no mood swings, no enlarged nipples...NOTHING.

now i know sight hounds only generally have 1 heat a year (sometimes up to 15 months between) but what about cresties.

ive tlaked to the vet and he cant see anything wrong with her reproductive system, and says she most likley just had a scilent heat...but it is very strange that not even my male chi picked up on it...
any idead?
are cresties just 'late bloomers' ?
She has a heart problem now? As of May 29, 2008?

I had a bad feeling from when this thread was posted.. Where the dogs come from is obviously up for debate but regardless the dogs are not proven in any reputable venue, or titled in any dog sport. Pet dogs should not be producing puppies, especially ones with such questionable histories...

All feelings about what was said on other boards...
I am just really POed about there being an oops litter. If you and everybody in your house is not ok to keep 2 intact dogs seperated, you should not have them. I have an intact bitch, and honestly just think that this does not help the issue of unwanted puppies at all :( Intact dogs are not for everybody, especially in multiple dog households with opposite genders.

As well, you are breeding two very young dogs, including one that is UNDER 2. Honestly, if you were up front and honest to say WHY you bred them (as it appears in another forum you did), even if it was just as much as "I wanted puppies and my dogs are cute and I love them" then, well, even though members would be POed, I am sure they would respect you more than they do now.

Foxy, I'd really just like the truth. There aren't just two versions here, the one you said you lied about and the one you're saying is the truth now. There are multiple conflicting stories all over Chaz and other boards.
You don't truly owe us anything, but for those of us who have always liked and respected you, and now aren't sure about things anymore, we would appreciate just being told up front where the dogs really came from, and what really led to this breeding. Just the plain and simple truth.
I know we may never get it, though.

I gotta agree with that. That's why our dogs are spayed. I don't trust myself (or others who may be caring for our dogs) to keep them away from intact males.

Oh dear! What a mess. It is one thing to have lied initially and admit it. It is admirable even. But all these conflicting stories make me wonder how "accidental" this breeding really was. Sigh!

As someone who owns a dog with a severe heart issue, I am furious that Ruby has been bred if she does in fact have heart problems. It kills me to watch my little girl suffer on a daily basis because her heart is giving in on her.

I doubt foxy will be coming back honestly.. :/

she has internet access and is on facebook and for those interested in how rubys is doing, this is her most recent status (I hope this is ok to post..)

"ruby temp update: 98.2...this could be the drop we were looking for...
today will be spent watching her every movment!"

I would love to hear the truth..but, regardless I have my fingers crossed for a fast, safe delivery for ruby.
and I hope foxy knows that I dont think ANYBODY on chaz would think twice about offering help, advice, guidance or anything for ruby and the pups, regardless of the mess that happened in this thread.
