Well I just joined, I figured I am on every other kind of forum I might as well be on a dog one and I may just learn something!!
My wife and I have 2 dogs Payton who is on the left of my sig pic is a corgi mixed with something. My wife (andrea) got me for my bday in 2002. Her friend knew someone moving to another state and they were unable to take him with them. My wife knew I always wanted a dog and this was the best present she has ever given me!!
Joker is on the right, He is a weiner dog mixed with hound dog we think. He came to us because my sister's boss found him in a pound he was going to be put to sleep because the previous owner couldnt afford the surgery he needed. My sisters boss rescued him and got him the surgery and we watched him while he was recovering, we fell in love with him and since my sisters boss didnt really want him but just wanted to save him and find him a good home we got to keep him. Well we could tell he was getting better cause he kept chewing everything up. I mean everything!! It took us a while but we broke him of the chewing.
We treat both dogs just like our kids cause we do not have any yet! We will be married for 3yrs in october!
Well sorry for the long post just thought I would give a little background. This site seems to be great thus far and I look forward to talking with all of you!
