Teen killed in Interstate 65 crash identified | al.com

Was a good friend in my high school days. This guy was THE nicest guy you would ever meant. He had such a laid back personality. I can honestly say that I have never seen him angry in any of the four years that I known him. He was kind to everyone he meet, and he was the type to text his friends that he was thinking of them that day. It just isn't fair for a person like that to die in such a horrific way. He was going to school and had his whole life ahead of him. Gone just like that.:(

Kai is right here next to me being so supportive of me. When I laid down in my bed, he cuddle with me, licking my face. I'm so lucky to have him. Weird thing is, I had a horrible dream last nightmare that Kai was killed, and today this happen.

Life is just too short.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. You are right--life is too short, and none of us knows what the next day will bring. It's a good time to reflect on what we have and who the people are that are important to us.
((HUGS)) and a pat for Kai for being such a good dog.

I'm sorry. It is a horribly shocking experience when someone you know dies suddenly--especially when they're so young :(

I'm glad you have Kai snuggles to help you through it.

I'm sorry. I know exactly what you mean and I still wonder every day why certain people are taken from us.

My little brother was 5 years old when he drowned and lost his life. He, too, was the sweetest boy you'd ever meet. Every one always called him an old soul. I still struggle with it daily of course... but I often wonder "WHY him? Why?"

Whenever I hear a story of any young person dying who had so much potential and their whole life ahead of them, it just breaks my heart. Life is SO precious!

*hugs* I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose someone, especially when they've got so much life and potential ahead.

As people we want things to make sense, especially big things like death. And sometimes they just don't make sense.

I am so sorry. I know exactly what you mean... I've been there before. A good friend of mine I knew all through high school and college died in a car accident when he was 20 years old. He was an eagle scout, would do anything for his friends, and was just a really nice guy.

It was just a really shocking experience.

I never deleted his number from my cellphone.

I am so very sorry for your loss.
And i dont get it either, in the past year and a half ive lost a good friend at 17 years old to a moose accident and another very very dear friend of mine to a Skidoo accident . She was only 15.
This world does not make sense. Both were the kindest people you could ever come across.. And they are gone.

I'm sorry for all of your losses as well. Everyone is familar with that feeling of your heart having a piece missing. Right now I feel hollow, but I'm pushing through it. Wherever he went, I hope he reunites with his mother!

ETA: Thanks for all the support.

(((hugs))) Everything else has already been said. Sometimes, things just do not make sense.

We lost my cousin to a car accident about 6 years ago, he left 1 and 3 year old daughters behind, he was only in his early 20s. Sometimes, things just do not add up, and just are not fair.
