3 years of animal ownership.. 0 ER visits. 2 months with new puppy.. ER visit.
He tried to hump a cedar bush that was his sized pulled him off had puppy zoomies through the entire row of them a dozen times.. came in took a giant drink was panting hard.. Came upstairs.. rubbing face on floor. I look closely his eye is swollen shut.. The other one is red.. Put polysporin eye in it.. I panic I took him in. 3 hour wait to be seen.. Worse emergencies came in..

They aren't sure if it's an ulcer or not, but his eye is beyond inflamed so they admitted him. I'm so worried.. I'm a wreck..

oh boy...puppies are like little kids...you never know what is going to happen---I sure hope he will be ok. Take a deep breath, and relax if you can.

Oh gosh! I am sorry. He must have really jabbed it and that cedar has pretty strong, irritating sap. I do hope he'll be OK. Will be thinking about you and him and sending positive vibes your way. Let us know when you find out anything. (((Hugs)))

Breeder thinks it might be a cedar allergy.. But he was so dopey and unfocused.. And hurting rather safe even with a 300 dollar bill..

Keep us posted, hoping everything is ok and he has a complete and fast recovery.
It's terrible having to wait but he is in good hands.

Do you think he could've been stung by a bee during his adventures?

Poor guy, fingers crossed that it's an easy fix.
