My dog gets really hyper and doesn't listen as well when there are other dogs around, does that meant that he will not do good in agility or flyball. of are there ways around it?

Takes time, training and acclimatization. Some group Ob classes may be helpful. Our first agility set was good when it was indoors, and became a free for all of zoomies when we got outside to practice. It was embarrassing.. We did some more Ob work.. Working on attention, and letting a little more growing up happen.

Yes, I suggest Ob classes too. How old is your dog? How much work have yout two done?
