Well, the kids I might be able to do something about (how old are they?) but I've not yet figured out how to train a woman. Clicker training doesn't work, no degree of positive reinforcement nor negative reinforcement works. Gentle coaxing just ends in mockery.
The only thing that's produced any viable results is chocolate but if given too often, you risk associated complications.

First of all I feel the breeder was a BYB.
Second of all this is a recipe for disaster. I had my reservations when I heard they were getting 1 dog.
I don't think they know what they are getting themselves into.
I have two dogs, small dogs that are 5 months apart in age and raising two puppies at the same time is not easy.
Kate is too particular.
Honestly I think she likes the dogs and I hope she does keep them but I worry for these dogs and their kids.
I mean they have a hard enough time keeping track of all the kids and the kids and the dogs won't be supervised together I don't think.
I wish kate and john would have done more research or atleast waited until the kids were older.
But whats done is done now. Lets just hope they get these dogs some training and that things work out well.

Although, I remember after the movie Beethoven came out there was an influx of St. Bernards being pumped out and sold. And Beethoven was portrayed as a HORRIBLE puppy who got into everything!
I think some people will still look say "awww, a cute puppy!" no matter how badly behaved the dog is portrayed.

i watch this show alll the time , and if you dont watch the show and only go by the clips kate comes off as a bitch , but she really is not like that , it seems to me from watching it, bossy and demanding , a little neurotic maybe , but defiantly not mean or cold hearted.
the dogs suprised me , but i really dont think they will go anywhere , and i think they will be happy heathly well adjusted dogs. but maybe its the rose colored glasses. but i think they will get the training needed for the family and the dogs.
