What you got?

After 10 years in a 1995 Jeep ZJ I got a brand new 2014 Jeep JK last year. Paid in full. Cut the front bumper in the first month. Moved the tires from the old Jeep to the new without having to install a lift.

Nothing major done to it, added a pet net to keep the hounds in the back. A cargo net to keep the hounds in with the hard top off. Its been debadged of all decals, and Im waiting on a soft top roof rack.

Blue and Verde with the old Jeep.

I miss my '96 ZJ. A buddy of mine has a TJ Sport, I can't remember what year it is. Nice Jeep though. Miss the trails like hell.

SHARP JK. Love, love, love.

We started off with an 80's TJ on a 2" lift running 35's iirc. DH put diamond plate on the sides. It was a nice looking vehicle. He traded that for an XJ on a 4" suspension lift, which I ended up driving to the death the in end. I had a few other XJs here and there but never got to do any body mod to them.

No current Jeeps, but as soon as I graduate I'm thinking I may end up with the 4 door Wrangler, which if I remember correctly is the JKU? I really need to test drive one, though, because I've heard the blind spots are awful in them for shorter people.

Here's an odd question.

How do ya'll that own jeeps (particularly of the wrangler variety) feel about the seats/comfort level?

My brother and ex boyfriend both owned jeeps. A liberty and a patriot. Both seemed fine, but if I spend more than about 40 minutes in them, my back starts to kill me. I've never experienced this in any other car, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

The seats themselves aren't uncomfortable, it's the ride in the Jeeps. They aren't known for long term comfort. :p

SO has a 2001 Jeep Cherokee sport and also an 89' Comanche. Can't go wrong with the 4.0L, neither truck has ever left him stranded. I drive a Subaru, but am thinking about getting a Grand Cherokee.

I like the color! I don't do brights!

No current jeep. We have had a couple Cherokees and grand Cherokees. Had a wrangler for a short time while I was pregnant and sold it as it was very uncomfortable and now I wonder if I shouldn't have but probably the right decision. I do find them uncomfortable compared to the other jeeps. My mom who loves jeeps bought it for herself and hated it.

I do want a diesel now that they are available but wondering how they are selling here and if they will keep making them for us? Was going to get a new grand Cherokee a couple years ago and then Just decided to drive the explorer till the wheels fall off. Seemed hit or miss with the reviews on transmissions?
