Okay, so when I got home from work I noticed jaidee wasn't acting right. She's in heat and while i'm at work my parents let her outside and she's usually out there for about 20 minutes. She never leaves the yard or anything, but our neighbors have a really tiny chihuahua that likes to wonder in our yard. Sometimes those two play, but I didn't want him in our yard when she's in heat. She was in heat for about 3 days before she started acting sick. She is barely eating, but drinking a ton of water. All she wants to do is have me hold her, and sleep. She's been puking but it's pretty much just phlem looking. And it's only once in a while, it was about 2 weeks ago that we spotted the neighbors chihuahua in the yard. I felt her stomach and I don't feel anything, but maybe it's too early to tell? I've just never seen her act like this, I tried to get her to eat hamburger with rice, and I tried the chicken with rice, she just kinda picked at it, not like her normally she's eat it all. I took her to the vet they said just keep an eye on her, there wasn't anything wrong with her that they could find. My mom said if she's pregnaunt this is why she could be acting like this because jaidee is 5 years old and she's never been pregnaunt before. If anyone has any suggestion or anything to help me out, like what could I get for her to eat? I've tried a lot of homemade recipes which she usually gobbles right down, but right now she just wants me to hold her and she sleeps. I've been crate training my youngest Roxy, and Jaidee has been taking her crate when Roxy isn't in it, Jaidee is just acting like she wants to be by herself with none of the other dogs near her.
