J.D. is no longer with us

My friend who had J.D. called me last night to tell me he passed away. THey have no clue what was wrong he was healthy and went to take a nap and left us. He was 13 but he was still in perfect health he even went hunting this year. Didnt participate in the catching of the hog but still ran like a bat out of hell with the others. Im going over there after school to give him final pets and say good bye then we are going to go bury him together in the woods he learned to hunt in. It still hasnt hit home that he has gone I still havent cried Im still in so much shock. My baby boy is gone.

thanks guys it finally hit me in class earlier. I ended up crying in the middle of class I know he will be at Rainbow Bridge hunting like always.

that is one thing i am happy for i jsut wish i had been able to see him one more time before he died. I havent seen him since december when we all went hunting together.

I'm so sorry. It's never easy no matter what the circumstances. But it is nice that he went in his sleep and never had to suffer with illnesses. I wish you peace and healing.

Thank you. We buried him under his favorite place to rest after i hunt last night. It was a beutifal night with a perfect sunset so fitting for my boy.
