Not too thrilled with the name. Not because I don't like it in general, it just doesn't suit him. Anyways, he's been having steady progress.

He has a very noble face. Victor's name was Matthew when i got him, and that didn't suit him either. My Mom was determined to name him and Victor was what she decided on. Vigorous VIctor was an apt handle.

Hows the floor issue going? I had a pointer once that was terrified of a tile floor. ANd one specific room. I had had him since babyhood so there was no given reason for it. Later I found out a person had committed suicide in that room. Makes you wonder if he saw something that we didn't. He did eventually get over it, tho he always skittered across that room like the flooring was hot.
