Hi there,I thought I might tell you about Pepa, a 5 year old miniature salt and pepper schnauzer. She is so sweet and she's gonna be my canine friend for the next years :)
I don't know...I'm happy and very excited and I can't wait!I'll get her on the 15th of this month. She is one of my boss's dogs (they breed schnauzers:mini, standard and giant). She is a show dog...but I think she never got the attention and love that she wanted...you know how it is with these breeding dogs. The breeders don't have enough time for each of them (correct me if I'm wrong). She also has a problem. She can't see...she has a problem with her eyes.I think it's genetical, but we'll take her to a vet and have her eyes checked. But if this problem won't be solved I'll love her as much.I know her pretty well because I went with them to many dog shows and I even handeled her in the ring.I like going to dog shows. You get to see many beatiful breeds. And I like being in the show, handeling dogs. And, as I was saying, I know Pepa and she is the sweetest dog ever.I can't wait to get her and I can't wait to show you pics with her.I do hope that she'll get along well with my cats. But I'm positiv about this.LOL

I'm so excited for you, Nicco! I can't wait to see pictures of Pepa. She sounds like a sweet dog and I'm glad you've decided to open your heart and home to a new dog. Pepa's very lucky. :)

Thanks Carolyn.I still miss my beloved Dane. But,now, when I think of her I smile (I don't cry so much like I used to)...they really get under our skin.
But I'm very excited of getting Pepa. The days seem to get by so slowly :D ...I guess this is how it is when you can't wait for something to happen.

And RD thanks to you too...I don't know how some people don't like dogs, cats (animals)...Because me, I can't leave without at least one around me.

Love all of you LOADS!

Oh Nicco, I'm so very happy for you. I just know Amira sent Pepa to you for comfort and love. Pepa is one lucky girl to have you as her new mommy. I can't wait to see pics of her.

You're welcome nicco :) and I know what you mean. I love all animals. I love being with them, working with them, just having them with me, as part of my family. I even studied Animal Technology so I could improve on my skills and knowledge. They certainly do get under your skin. I just lost my rattie girl a few weeks back. Last one to leave us and go to the bridge. I only have the four left in my sig banner now, and they keep me on my toes heheh.

We adopted Max nearly 2 years ago from the RSPCA, before him we had a Dandie Dinmont Terrier named Ludo. We had to give him his wings, because Cushing's disease took hold of him very quickly :( He was 13 years old. It took me a while to open up my heart again, although we still had Sugar. When the time was right for me, hubby and I adopted Max.

I know Amira is watching her mummy from the bridge, and will watch over Pepa when she arrives :)

You're so very lucky, I love getting new additions heheh

No, you can't show and breed a dog if it has a genetical problem (and I think it's genetical at Pepa)...
I saw her yesterday...she's so cute..I can't wait to get her..she seemed upset (duuhh, "try living in a cage on some hay" right?)...if you take her in your arms she stays still with her snout near your mouth and she tickles you with her whiskers, she doesn't lick you she just stays like that very close to your face.So cute!!! :D

Great news, can't wait to see pictures!

I guess they had to retire her when she went blind? or can you show a blind dog?
