Our area has been PUMMELED by storms this year. apparently there were some really big ones over the weekend taking down trees and damaging peoples roof tops and wreaking all kinds of havoc.
but the wierd things is... we NEVER get them in our little area of the map. I don't get it (and trust me I'm NOT complaining. I hate storms) everywhere around us gets them just a couple miles away but even when the radar looks like it's heading right over top of us it somehow breaks up and splits so we get the center of the splits where it's just rain. It's so ... ODD
One day I went to pick hannah up at daycare (not far from us at all) and I was caught in a monsoon lol. I couldnt' see the car in front of me it was raining so hard. got home and the ground was barely wet.
I have no idea what it is about this little pocket of Lancaster but the storms skip over us lol. it's the perfect place to live for me :rofl1:
Does anyone else experience this kind of odd occurance? if it was just once in a while I wouldn't find it wierd but it's been happening ALL summer. we have not gotten one big storm over our house.
