It's so cold...

It was so cold here today that while out for her morning pee, after only about one minute, at the most, Psyche was sitting beside me, with her bum tucked/rolled up under her, sitting on her bum, with her back legs off the ground and holding both of her front paws up like she was begging. Poor girl.

Tonight's supposed to get to -37C with windchill and I have NO idea how I'll get the dogs out for their pottying tonight and all day tomorrow if that lasts for any amount of time. I may have to resort to putting people socks on their feet, tied on. Which means I'd have to put them out one at a time.

I wish the weather would make up its mind! Remember that in December we had major FLOODING like it was spring.

Wish us luck! Psyche's got pretty tough feet usually, and to see her feet that cold this morning when it was only -27C was sad... I can't imagine what it will be like at -37C.

Sounds really scary... I can't imagine such cold, here in Florida we are having a quite mild winter and it's no problem to go with my dogs for a pee. Do you dress Psyche to anything?

They've all been managing okay with the cold. They go outside really quickly, do their business and run back in...

We've been having the horrible cold too. Riley is going stir crazy! He wants to stay outside so bad but can't. I think by tomorrow it's supposed to go back to 'normal' temps - hopefully it warms up there too!

It's supposed to be warming up to -6 today, so that'll be nice, compared.

I know, eh? Canada's getting it hard this year it seems... just imagine if we lived in those igloos like some people think we do!

A couple of my guys will just 'go' in front of the door if its this cold. Its like they get to the door, feel the cold of the door and go 'f$ck that sh$t' (I always picture JRTs swearing like a sailor) and just quietly go....

Can't say I blame them really... lol

It's been pretty cold here too, generally around 11F. Poor Saga will limp if we are outside longer than a couple minutes and she's wearing her booties,snood and sweatshirt. I almost had to carry her inside the other night. Right now it's a downright tropical 27F though.

I saw Psyche pee on our snow covered deck this morning. And Mom said when she went out to have her morning poo, she spun, sat, spun, sat, spun, sat, spun, and FINALLY pooped.
