after days of researching , iv finally decided a breed of dog, a german shepherd . i hope things will go well, i will be getting a dog in fall. most likly from a rescue.what do you guys think?

To add to Fran's "be prepared, they need A LOT of exercise and shed A LOT!" They also have long tails and are VERY hyper... The reasons given above are the reasons I have Bella, my GSD.

They're a great breed. I never used to want to be a GSD girl, but I can't see myself with out a GSD or a GSD cross now.

They really are great dogs and I love them !!! I'd go through rescue though rather than the HS.

lol, now i feel lucky to have a big yard and a pool. i do know they shed alot, but i will give em a good brush every day if i have to.

although our pool is about 4 feet deep, i dont think its good fro a dog, is it?
