I had an appointment this morning so I sent the boss a message telling him that it was taking longer than I thought it would and would be in shortly. He responded to me and told me he needed to talk to me when I got in and if I wanted we could go to lunch. So...I was a little on edge - not sure why considering I had a perfect review just a few weeks ago.
The talk wasn't so bad after all - I got a 15% raise that will be retro-active back to April 1st.
So, I left work early and got home to a package sitting by the door.
