Freakishly clean? Shiny windows, vacuumed seats and floor, gleaming mats on the floor, clean interior, even a vacuumed ceiling......
I HAVE to be the sane one in my family. I mean, really, I'm crazy but in comparison to my mother on some days... I love her, I really do, but she drives me nuts.
We went to breakfast at the little shop near our house, took Middie with us.... he was in back, and we got hung up in the store due to a few things, and it took us 20-30 minutes to get back out to him. He was fine, had his bully stick to chew on and people to watch, but had jumped out of the back and up into the front seats, brought the bully stick with him, and *GASP* shedded and drooled a bit. I know, I know, shocking.
My mother flipped out.. because there was some hair on the seats. And a bit of droll that I wiped off, also on the seats. She spent the drive home ranting about it, and when we got home we spent two hours cleaning the car from top to bottom. Not that it was actually dirty, but when the dirt is all in your head it's amazing how much time you can spend cleaning.
I wanted to bang my head against a wall.. I still do.. I don't get her obsession with having a car that is so clean that a few hairs on the seats are the equivalent of a bomb going off.

So, do any of you clean your cars? Everyone I know has a normal car.. I swear, I miss a little dirt here and there.
Edit: I almost forgot.... I swear Middie reads my mind.. when my mother pronounced the car as spotless and we were ready to finally go, I took Middie on a potty trip.. I had the leash slack and was zoning out, and as we walked by the car it took me a bit to realize he wasn't with me. He had jumped in the back seats, leaving a trail of muddy paw prints and was being chased out by my mother with a vacuum.. ROFL! I swear he read my mind, that is exactly what I was wanting to do.
